Membership

 

AUEM is a nationwide platform regrouping the civil society. It regroups:-

  • Social groups such as those representing women, children, the youth, the elderly and people with disability and special needs;
  • Professional groups:- associations of artists, engineers, health practitioners, social workers, media, teachers, sport associations, legal professionals, social scientists, academia, business organizations, national chambers of commerce, workers, employers, industry and agriculture as well as other private sector interest groups;
  • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs) and voluntary organizations;

  • Cultural and Faith Based Organizations

  • Certificate of registration (Registry of Associations, Mauritius)
  • Annual statements of account
  • List of Managing Committee members for the current year
  • Minutes of Proceedings of last AGM
  • List of all registered members
  • Any further material you wish to enclose

IMPORTANT

All applications received are scrutinized by the Credentials Committee and applicants will be informed about decision of the committee within one month of receipt of membership application.
